Locust Grove National Historic Landmark Poster

Historic Locust Grove is a 55 acre 18th century farm in eastern Jefferson County, Kentucky. The farm was a gathering site for Presidents and the home of explorer Brigadier General George Rogers Clark, older brother of William Clark from the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Tracing their way back from the Pacific Ocean, on November 8, 1806 Meriwether Lewis & William Clark arrived at Locust Grove from their Corps of Discovery Expedition. Locust Grove is the only residence still in existence west of the Appalachian Mountains to have sheltered Lewis & Clark on their expedition!
